Residents in need of food assistance will have an opportunity to receive free groceries during an upcoming Farm Share food distribution event at the Tamarac Sports Complex.
The drive-thru event is scheduled for Friday, May 29, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., or while supplies last, at 9901 NW 77th St. The distribution will operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
Community members are encouraged to remain in their vehicles as volunteers load food items directly into cars, helping streamline the process and maintain safety.
Farm Share, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting hunger across Florida, regularly hosts food distributions to support families facing food insecurity.
For more information about the event, residents can call 954-597-3620.
