Those who want to sample the best entrees from the city’s restaurants will want to come to the Taste of Tamarac on Thursday, February 19, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Colony West.
The Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce will host the event. “We will have local restaurants, and they will offer food samples,” said Peter Mason, executive director of the Chamber.
There will be unlimited food samples from participating restaurants offering a wide range of cuisines, live entertainment, a cash bar, and opportunities to mingle with food enthusiasts and local business owners, according to Mason.
The restaurants that have agreed to participate include The View at Colony West, Mannios Pizza, Kerry’s Jamaican Restaurant, Xaymaca Coffee, Butter Flakes Bakery & Grill, Trino Restaurant, Rootz Bar N Café, Huey Maggos Chicken Tenders, Eve’s Bakery, Raising Canes Chicken Fingers, Smoothie King, La Viña Cuban Café, At’s A Pizza, Chef Michelle Jones, Clever Bakery, Lucky Scoops Ice Cream & Acai, Tabanka a Trini Restaurant, Kings Original Home of the Spicy Fried Chicken, Woodmont Country Club, Caprichos Mexicanos, and Hong King BBQ.
Tickets are $20 and are available here. Colony West is located at 6850 N. Pine Island Road.
