At last, there is a  new and exciting concept that combines the best of both worlds: relaxation for parents and a stimulating environment for children.

At just under three-years-old, WowMoms World, which began in a small ski village in Canada, has opened its fifth and first Florida location in Coral Springs.

Tiffany and Marc Naya.

Franchisee Tiffany, and Marc Naya, who has been supporting her dream, are both 33. Tiffany began the journey two years ago when she was pregnant with her second son. With Mommy and Me classes only lasting an hour and having trouble finding places to take an infant, Tiffany was feeling stuck at home.  But she wasn’t alone. Other mothers she met were in a similar predicament.

“The indoor play places didn’t serve healthy food, and the park was too hot, and you need that social interaction for yourself and your kids,” said Tiffany, who first read about WowMoms World on Instagram, and decided to check it out.

Having worked in corporate America, with a background in franchising and childcare, Tiffany’s interest peaked, after she reached out to WowMoms World.

“I thought, South Florida needs this; parents need this,” said Tiffany.

Since Tiffany and Marc had both grown up in Broward county —- her in Cooper City, and him in Pembroke Pines, they both knew they wanted to open the franchise locally.

With family in Parkland, Tamarac, and all over South Florida, they were familiar with the area and decided family-friendly Coral Springs was the right fit. They found the perfect location, nestled in a corner of The Walk.

Coral Springs Mayor Scott Brook said, “We needed something like this in Coral Springs. They’re in a great place, and I have no doubt what they’re going to do for our community will be awesome.”

At 4,500 sq. ft. the facility is centered around parents, including mom, dads, grandparents, and caretakers. Tiffany said the concept allows them all to have the best of both worlds.

“It’s a place for infants and toddlers that still keeps the parents in mind,” she said.

Part of the WOWMoms culture is the absence of battery-operated toys, electronics, and plastics. It’s back to the basics with wooden play elements throughout the center.

WOWMoms World offers family-fitness classes from yoga to martial arts, dance, boot camp, and more. They have an art studio, and an after-school care program, where they offer homework help.

Tiffany said the plan is to start slowly and build the program as the demand calls for it. For now, mommy and me classes will begin at three-months-old, and classes will be provided for children up to age five but may expand to older ones as the center grows.

But that’s not all. WOWMoms World is practically an indoor playground for parents as well, with adult fitness classes, and spa services with built-in childcare.

“We offer esthetician services to our customers as a relaxed time-out for parents to rejuvenate themselves and get pampered a little bit while children are babysat,” said Marc.

But, the pride and joy of WOWMoms World might be their swimming program. That’s right, an indoor above-ground swimming pool for private swimming lessons for infants as young as six-weeks-old. The non-chlorinated water is set at body temperature to make it nice and comfortable for the little ones.

Marc said their one-of-a-kind drowning prevention program targets three-month-old infants to four-year-old children.

“It’s a unique concept specific to WOWMoms, and we’re really excited to bring it to Coral Springs,” he said.

Sanitized and cleaned throughout the day with plant-based safe disinfectants, new and expecting moms will find the experience of the beautifully decorated center pleasant and cozy, including a private nursing area complete with comfy pillows and cotton clouds above.

WOWMoms co-founder Joëlle Lavigne said being a mom is exhausting, and they wanted to create a space where people could come and be fulfilled. This includes healthy food, for both mother and child.

“I fell in love with the café because it offered things that allow us to nourish our bodies as parents, and it makes healthy food fun for kids,” said Tiffany, “We make everything in house, with our own culinary and pastry chefs.”

Originally started to help moms lose weight and get healthy after having babies, the concept of the centers for families came later, so they also have a whole line of core nutritional products.

“Our smoothies are delicious, beautifully presented, and packed with nutrients,” said Lavigne.

Making it a family affair, another co-founder, Lavigne’s mother, Danielle, created the menu and works behind the scenes teaching the recipes to the chefs in the kitchen.

“The problem with being a working mom is you have such limited time. I can come here, get a workout, my son can take a swimming lesson, and I can catch up with some friends while he plays,” said Mandy, mother to Joey, 1. “It’s a one-stop-shop.”

WOWMoms World offers multiple membership options as well as a-la-carte choices, including one-on-one nanny care. Members will receive discounts on classes, and their nanny service is complimentary.
