
Tamarac Fire Rescue {Aiden Palmer}
A baby died Tuesday after being found unresponsive in a Tamarac home, authorities said.
Authorities received a medical call shortly after 7:30 a.m. involving a baby at a house in the 9500 block of Northwest 74th Court in Tamarac, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
BSO deputies and Tamarac Fire Rescue responded to the scene, where emergency crews found the baby unresponsive. The baby was taken to a local hospital and pronounced dead, authorities said.
BSO homicide detectives were notified and are investigating the incident.
According to investigators, the cause and manner of the baby’s death will be determined by the Broward Medical Examiner’s Office.
Additional information, including the baby’s gender, was not immediately made public.
