The Broward Sheriff’s Office is offering a $5,000 hiring bonus in an effort to recruit new workforce members.
The sign-on bonus is an incentive to quickly fill critical law enforcement roles within the Broward County Jail system. Opportunities include roles at the BSO Online Career Center, Citizens’ Academy, reserve firefighter roles, and contact recruitment.
There are also listings for youth and volunteers, which offer the next generation of public servants an early look at a career with BSO.
No prior experience in law enforcement or corrections is necessary to apply. Candidates need to meet the following criteria:
- At least 18 years of age
- U.S. citizenship
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED
For more information, attendees are advised to visit the BSO official website.
