The Broward Sheriff’s Office Tamarac District is inviting the community to join a vital conversation on ending abuse at its upcoming Domestic Violence Summit, set for Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The event will be held at the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd., Tamarac, and will bring residents, advocates, and law enforcement together to address ways to recognize, report, and prevent domestic violence.
With the theme “Love Does Not Hurt – End the Violence Now,” the summit underscores BSO’s commitment to raising awareness and providing resources to those impacted by domestic abuse.
Domestic violence remains a pressing issue in Broward County and nationwide, and the summit aims to empower attendees with the knowledge to identify warning signs, support survivors, and connect families with available services.
The event is free and open to the public.
