Update: Detectives with the Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit have located 87-year-old Alfonso Hurtado. According to detectives, Hurtado returned home safely and is in good condition.

The Broward Sheriff’s Office Missing Persons Unit is seeking the public’s help in finding an 87-year-old man missing from Tamarac.
Alfonso Hurtado was last seen at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 14, near the 9000 block of Lime Bay Boulevard in Tamarac, according to BSO detectives. Hurtado was wearing a green shirt with green pants, is approximately 5 feet 1 inch tall, and weighs around 135 pounds, detectives said.
According to Hurtado’s family, he has Alzheimer’s disease and suffers from hearing loss.
Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact BSO Detective Elaine Seedig at 954-321-4553 or the BSO non-emergency number at 954-764-4357.
