A senior dog can be the best companion – older canines do not require as much training. They are well adapted and calm. This is undoubtedly true in the case of Luna, a gorgeous eight-year-old American Bulldog.
According to the Broward County Animal Care, Luna weighs 62 pounds and has been at the shelter since February.
A friendly and affectionate senior lady with the loveliest pattern on her coat, Luna loves belly rubs and affection. She needs only a few short walks a day and a soft place to snuggle with her human. This older pup will be an excellent companion for someone with a laid-back lifestyle.
Luna’s adoption fee is waived and includes sterilization, a microchip, and Broward County Pet License tag. As an added incentive, her new family will receive free pet food, annual vaccinations, heartworm medication, flea and tick medication, and reduced-cost veterinary care for her lifetime.

The Adoption Center at Broward County Animal Care is located at 2400 SW 42 Street, Fort Lauderdale, and is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Adoptions are at no cost and include spaying/neutering, vaccinations, a microchip, and a Broward County pet license tag.
