Mayor Michelle Gomez will deliver a State of the City address to the business community at the next monthly Tamarac North Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce meeting.
The breakfast will be held on Thursday, May 2, from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Colony West Country Club. It is $20 for chamber members and $25 for guests. RSVP by April 30 to secure your spot.
“State of the City breakfast is a popular event for local entrepreneurs that allows them to mix, mingle, and promote their businesses,” said Peter Mason, Executive Director of the Chamber.
He added that the event is held during National Small Business Week, when it’s time to think about local small businesses and support them. “We strongly encourage everyone to shop small,” Mason said.
The breakfast is an opportunity to hear the State of the City Gomez presented on April 10. The annual address recognizes the city’s accomplishments in the past year and sets expectations for the future.
Colony West Country Club is located at 6850 NW 88th Ave.
