On Wednesday, BSO received several calls about gunshots at the Sun Vista Gardens condominium complex in Tamarac after neighbors were awakened by the sound of gunfire.
Responding deputies found a man dead in the parking lot of the condominium located at 5060 Rock Island Rd just North of Commercial Boulevard.
BSO deputies immediately began to canvass the area looking for potential suspect by ground and air, but no suspect was located. Members of the BSO Special Weapons and Tactics team also responded to help secure the large residential community.
The body of the victim has been identified by the Medical Examiner’s Office as Louricaks Siffra, 26.
