
Anthony Quigley. {JPT Baseball}
Former J.P. Taravella standout Anthony Quigley has made an immediate impact with his new program, earning ECSAA Player of the Week honors for Northwest Florida State College.
In nine games, the 2024 graduate put together a monster week at the plate, batting .563 with nine hits, four home runs, and seven extra-base hits. Through the first nine games of the season, Quigley has already blasted six home runs and driven in 20 runs, helping Northwest Florida get off to a 9–4 start.
Quigley began his college career at the University of South Florida, where he appeared in 12 games and recorded three hits and four RBIs. A two-way player in high school, he both hit and pitched at J.P. Taravella, finishing his senior season with five home runs and 29 RBIs. He also went 4-2 and pitched to an era of 2.41 with 88 strikeouts in 58 games.
Northwest Florida will be back in action on Friday, February 13, when it takes on Bishop State Community College at 11 a.m.
