The tip-off something was wrong should have been when the man with the the lousy costume walked through the door on Halloween night.
It was at a Tamarac Subway Restaurant, when a robber wearing a red-hooded sweatshirt with a t-shirt covering his face, left the staff shaking with fear after he held them up at gunpoint.
The employees of a Subway restaurant at 4601 N.W. 31 Ave. in Tamarac were just about to close their doors for the night when they were ambushed by a gun-wielding robber. The robber walked up to the register holding a small handgun and demanded the cash. The staff complied, but the robber wanted more and insisted they open the safe. Quickly he changed his mind and ran out of the restaurant with the cash in his hand.
