J.P. Taravella has been on a strong run lately, with teams hosting Senior Nights while others compete in the postseason.
The wrestling team is one of the top programs in South Broward and honored its seniors on January 23. They also placed in the top four at South Broward High School, and Jacob Rosen went 6-0.
The boys basketball team finished the season with nine wins in 20 games. Trojans are seeded third in the District Tournament. They will have a bye in the opening round before playing Cypress Bay High School on Monday, February 3. JPT won 46-43 in their first meeting this year, while Western High School will play either West Broward or Piper High School.

The girls basketball team finished the season with a record of 9-8. They recently Boyd H Anderson High School 46-36 in their last game, scoring at least 10 points in all four quarters while also beating Coral Glades, JC Bermudez, Pompano Beach, Everglades, and Piper High School.
They are seeded fifth and will play West Broward High School in the opening round on Tuesday, February 4. The Bobcats won by one point in their only matchup during the regular season, with the winner playing top-seeded Cypress Bay High School. Western and Piper High School will also face after they earn byes in the first round.
The J.P. Taravella boys soccer team lost to Boca Ration Community High School 1-0 in the opening round and finished their season 3-9. Their wins came against McArthur, Nova, and Coral Springs High School, while the J.P. Taravella girls soccer team also lost to Boca Raton 8-0 to finish the year 7-7.
