The City of Lauderhill and Commissioner John T. Hodgson will host the Lauderhill Rising Stars Talent Show on Saturday, July 12, at 6 p.m. at the Lauderdale Performing Arts Center, located at 3800 NW 11 Place. The event is free to attend and open to the public.
Students in grades 6 through 12 who live in Broward County are invited to take the stage and showcase their talents for a chance to win cash prizes for first, second, and third place. From singing and dancing to poetry and instrumental performances, the show will highlight a wide range of youth talent.
The application deadline to participate is June 28. Those interested can apply online at lauderhill-fl.gov/risingstars.
