Nikki Fried, chair of the Florida Democratic Party, will speak on Wednesday, Jan. 21, about the 2026 elections and the path forward for Democrats in Florida and nationwide.
Fried is scheduled to present at a meeting of the Kings Point Democratic Club, following an invitation extended by club President Sean Arena. The event will begin at 6 p.m. in the Cabaret Room, with dinner served.
A trailblazing statewide leader, Fried is the first woman elected to the Florida Commissioner of Agriculture and Consumer Services. Her career includes work as a public defender and consumer-protection attorney, and she has built a reputation as a vocal advocate for affordability, environmental protection, and voting rights.
As chair of the state party, Fried is leading efforts to rebuild Democratic momentum and outline a strategy aimed at success in the 2026 midterm elections.
The Kings Point Democratic Club meeting will be held at 7620 N. Nob Hill Road in Tamarac. The event is open to registered Democrats.
