Incidents
Missing Person / Runaway
A father reported his adult son missing after he left home and did not return. The individual reportedly has a mental health condition, but was not experiencing a known episode at the time. The subject was entered into the Missing Persons Database.
An adult female with a history of runaway incidents was reported missing after leaving her residence. A BOLO was issued and the case was entered into the county database.
Theft / Retail Theft
A resident reported a stolen package valued at $279.
A liquor store employee reported a suspect stole a tip jar containing cash and fled.
A vehicle tag was reported stolen from a residential parking lot.
CVS reported two suspects stole merchandise valued at more than $100 and left without paying.
Deans Liquor reported three juveniles stole merchandise and fled before deputies arrived.
A vehicle decal was reported stolen, causing approximately $5 in damage.
Burglary
A woman staying at an Extended Stay hotel reported that her purse, passport, ID, and cash were stolen after an unknown man was seen exiting her room.
Multiple vehicle burglaries were reported throughout the city, including smashed windows, stolen purses, wallets, phones, and damaged steering columns. Losses ranged from $16 to more than $500.
A secured vehicle was entered overnight without forced entry, and a purse containing cash and credit cards was stolen.
Fraud / Identity Theft
A victim reported identity theft, believing a relative used his name during a traffic stop.
A woman reported a scam in which suspects impersonated law enforcement officers and requested bail money, resulting in a $1,000 loss.
A resident reported losing $40,000 in an alleged investment scam.
Threats / Intimidation
A woman reported receiving threatening messages from a suspect she met on Facebook, including threats to shoot her and a photo of the suspect holding a rifle.
A man reported receiving extortion threats demanding $5,000 via phone and text messages.
Extortion / False Imprisonment
A woman reported her former boyfriend attempted to extort $20,000 from her and later reported a delayed kidnapping/false imprisonment incident related to the same case.
Battery
A woman reported being battered by a known subject, causing swelling to her eye.
A delayed battery report involved an unwanted kiss between acquaintances.
A voyeurism and battery incident was reported, but the victim declined prosecution.
Violation of Court Order
A woman reported her child’s father violated a restraining order by sending harassing text messages.
Another case involved a suspect driving past a protected residence in violation of an active injunction.
Weapons Violation
Deputies stopped a vehicle for reckless driving and discovered the driver was unlawfully possessing a 9mm handgun.
Auto Theft
A 2024 white Italica moped was reported stolen from a parking lot and entered into state and national databases.
Death Investigations
Two deaths were investigated during the week. In both cases, no foul play was suspected and the Medical Examiner was notified.
Baker / Marchman Acts
Several individuals were taken into custody under the Baker Act after making suicidal statements or exhibiting behavior that posed a danger to themselves. All were transported for mental health evaluations.
Domestic Disturbances (Non-Crime)
Deputies responded to multiple verbal-only domestic disputes involving family members and partners. No arrests were made in these incidents.
Arrests
Andrew Conserve, 38, was arrested on a charge of misdemeanor battery.
Matthew William Fetzner, 41, was arrested on a felony charge of unlawful use of personal identification.
Keith Sennie, 47, was arrested for trespassing after previously being warned to stay off the property.
Rene Antonio Dominguez Licona, 28, was arrested for DUI (alcohol or drugs), first offense.
Justin Joseph Rodriguez, 36, was arrested for violating an injunction for protection against domestic violence.
Keo Brown, 34, was arrested for animal confinement without sufficient food.
Dahmeira Synell Heath, 18, was arrested for driving while license was suspended.
Adriano T. Williams, 18, was arrested for resisting an officer without violence.
