Suspect Sought in Early Morning Bank Robbery in Tamarac

A Tamarac bank was robbed this morning and the FBI needs the public’s help in identifying the man.

The robbery took place today at 9:49 a.m. at a BB&T Bank branch located at 8201 N. University Dr in  Tamarac where the robber wearing a blue cap, blue shirt and blue jeans entered the bank demanding money from a bank employee. 

There were customers in the bank at the time of the robbery, however, no one was injured. The amount of money taken will not be released at this time. 

If anyone has information with the identity of this bank robber, they are urged to call the FBI at 754-703-2000 or Crimestoppers.
