Tamarac will be getting a new fire rescue ambulance.
During the July 8 meeting, the commission passed a resolution to approve the purchase of one fire rescue ambulance for $566,546 from Ten-8 Fire and Safety.
The new ambulance will replace #391, which was declared a total loss following a motor vehicle accident during a traffic incident in October 2025, according to Fire Chief Jonathan Frasher.
“We need this ambulance to replace the one we lost,” said Frasher.
