Tamarac Crime Update: $16K Worth Of Construction Equipment Stolen

Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with the residents, this is a summary of Tamarac crime events through May 1.

Theft – Motor Vehicle Parts

A victim of Theft – Motor Vehicle Parts on Rock Island Road was reported on 04/25/2023. The total estimated loss was: $5,000. The victim stated that the catalytic converter was stolen from his work vehicle.

A victim of Theft – Motor Vehicle Parts on NW 58th Court was reported on 05/01/2023. The total estimated loss was: $2,000. The victim discovered the four rims and tires were stolen from his vehicle. The car was parked on the southeast side of the parking lot of his residence.

Stephanie Franco

A victim of Theft – Motor Vehicle Parts on E Sabal Palm Blvd was reported on 04/25/2023. The total estimated loss was: $1,700. The victim advised that the catalytic converter was stolen from his vehicle.

A victim of Theft – Motor Vehicle Parts NW 58 Court was reported on 05/01/2023. The total estimated loss was: $1,500. The victim said someone stole all four of her wheels and tires. 

Burglary Conveyance

A victim of Burglary Conveyance on NW 25 Terrace was reported on 04/27/2023. The total estimated loss was: $9,600. The victim said two males entered his work vehicle, a 2023 white Ford Transit 250, and removed a Ridgid Camera and K60 plumbing equipment from the back of the van. The total estimated loss was $9,600 in plumbing equipment.

A victim of Burglary Conveyance on NW 57 Street was reported on 04/30/2023. The total estimated loss was: $3,500. 

A victim of Burglary Conveyance on N University Drive was reported on 04/29/2023. The total estimated loss was: $1,305. 

Theft – All Other

A victim of Theft – All Other on W Commercial Blvd was reported on 04/27/2023. The total estimated loss was: $15,700. Theft of construction equipment was stolen at the corner of an intersection.

A victim of Theft – All Other on N University Drive was reported on 04/30/2023. The total estimated loss was: $1,000. The victim stated that his phone was stolen from the hospital lobby while visiting his grandmother.

Auto Theft

A victim of Auto Theft on Nob Hill Road was reported on 04/27/2023. The total estimated loss was: $1,575. The auto theft occurred in the parking lot.

A victim of Auto Theft on W McNab Road was reported on 04/29/2023. The vehicle was a white 2016 Mercedes Benz GLC 300. 

Fire

A victim of Fire on E Sabal Palm Blvd was reported on 04/27/2023. The fire occurred in an apartment inside of a multifamily structure. One victim was rescued by the fire department and transported to the hospital. 

Fraud – All Other

A victim of Fraud – All Other on Trent Drive was reported on 04/28/2023. The total estimated loss was: $1,450. 

Arrests

Dukes, Keysean Noel, 19, was arrested on a Warrant/Grand Theft charge at 4409 Treehouse Lane on 04/25/2023.

Messieurs, Junior, 31, was arrested on a Touch Or Strike/Battery/Dating Violence charge at NW 61 Street on 04/25/2023.

Moncur, Stephon, 27, was arrested on a Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence charge at NW 78 Avenue on 04/25/2023.

Pericles, Wilkenson, 21, was arrested on a Warrant – Agg Fleeing/Eluding High-Speed charge at 5717 NW 70 Avenue on 04/25/2023.

Sterling, Robert Ricardo, 45, was arrested on a Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence charge on NW 89 Avenue on 04/25/2023.
