Officials said roads were closed in the area of Commercial Boulevard and Northwest 31st Avenue in Tamarac Monday afternoon as authorities investigated a possible gas leak.
According to a message sent to city commission members, Tamarac Fire Rescue responded to the emergency call that led to the road closures around 3 p.m. Authorities did not immediately provide information on which roads were closed.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
