Criminal Activity

– A subject damaged the back seat plastic door panels of a marked patrol vehicle while in custody. The incident occurred between April 10 and April 22 at 8577 NW 61st St and was reported on April 22.

– An assault was reported on April 22 at a residence in Tamarac.

– A habitual runaway was reported missing by her mother between 1:00 a.m. and 1:40 a.m. on April 22.

– A stolen vehicle report was filed by the victim on April 22, with an estimated loss of $5.

– A female was trespassed from the Lakeside Condos property on April 22.

– A theft of $300 was reported by the victim between April 21 and April 22.

– An animal bite incident involving a victim was reported on April 23.

– A CVS Pharmacy at 3915 W. Commercial Blvd reported a theft of over $1,200 in hair products on April 24.

– Two shoplifting incidents were reported at Walgreens (3914 W. Commercial Blvd) on April 23. One involved the theft of baby formula ($47), and the other resulted in a $68 loss.

– Threatening emails with violent content were sent to victims on April 24.

– The victim reported a physical altercation between family members on April 24.

– The victim attempted to sell two iPhones on April 25 but was paid with $880 in counterfeit bills.

– A burglary of a vehicle was reported on April 27 at Tephford Park with a loss of $1,040.

– A fraud case involving a cloned debit card was reported on April 22 by the victim, who suffered a $173 loss.

Domestic Disturbances (No Crime)

Multiple verbal domestic disputes were reported at various Tamarac locations from April 22 through April 27. No physical violence or crimes were confirmed.

– Several information reports were filed, including a case at Challenger Elementary where a student brought a water gun to school.

– A report of a gas leak on April 23 revealed nothing suspicious.

– Peyton Richard Morgan, 18, was arrested for domestic battery causing bodily harm.

– Andre’ Shivoia Derico, 24, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.

– Tyreek Daniel Palmer, 20, was arrested for false imprisonment.

– Kayborn Divine Gonzalez, 24, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
