The Broward County Sheriff’s Office in Tamarac responded to various incidents through June 9, 2025. Below is a detailed account of the incidents and arrests handled by local law enforcement during this period.
Crime Incidents
A woman was scammed out of $6,480 after receiving a phone call she believed was from her nephew. The incident occurred between Feb. 27–28 and was reported on June 3.
A resident reported being defrauded of $800 on June 3 in a scam. Another Tamarac resident was also scammed out of $50 after sending a gift card to a Facebook contact for a dog that was never delivered.
A burglary of a vehicle was reported on June 3, where a wallet valued at $777 was stolen. Another vehicle burglary occurred on June 4, where a passenger-side window was smashed and property was stolen.
A gold necklace valued at $1,800 was reportedly stolen between May 24 and 25 by a nursing aide.
Two women were hit by a vehicle in a reported aggravated battery on June 6.
Auto thefts were reported on June 7 and June 8, including a stolen rental car and a 2024 Italica Spektra scooter.
A resident reported a $25,000 identity theft incident involving a fraudulent loan application using their information.
A rental community reported approximately $300 in damages to its median on June 8.
A man reported that a male attempted to steal mangoes from his yard on two consecutive days.
Domestic disputes that did not result in arrests were documented throughout the week, several involving family members or ex-partners. Multiple Baker Acts and mental health-related calls were also logged.
Two separate reports were filed regarding threatening messages from known individuals.
Arrests
Breann Elizabeth Piscopo, 32, was arrested on June 4 for tampering with an electronic monitoring device.
Shaniah P. Parker, 19, was arrested June 5 for robbery by sudden snatching without a firearm.
Rowlneyc Geffrard, 37, was arrested on June 5 on a warrant for grand theft over $20,000.
Brittany Megan Hancotte, 37, was arrested June 6 for domestic battery following a physical altercation with her husband.
Jacques Edmond, 27, was arrested June 6 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Yvarie Deaon Cole-Palmer, 51, was arrested June 6 for domestic battery against her brother.
Timothy Hezekiah Fain, 18, was arrested June 7 for domestic battery.
Kraska Benoma Bootle, 45, was arrested June 8 for resisting an officer without violence.
