Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Tamarac crime and arrests through May 2, 2022.

Aggravated Assault

NW 67th Ave.

A 39-year-old male was the victim of Aggravated Assault with a weapon on 04/28/2022.

Aggravated Battery

Rock Island Rd.

A 33-year-old female was the victim of an Aggravated Battery (Domestic Violence) on 04/28/2022. The offender battered and struck the victim with a piece of wood art multiple times on her head, leaving scars and blood on her left temporal and occipital lobes.

Battery

N. State Rd. 7

On 04/29/2022, a fight broke out because the battery suspect(s) did not like a funeral home’s funeral service for a deceased person. In retaliation, another funeral home planned to cause a disturbance during the scheduled service. Minor injuries/damages reported. The suspect(s)remain at large.

Burglary Conveyance

Nw 54th Ln.

A 43-year-old female was the victim of Burglary Conveyance on 04/27/2022. The victim’s vehicle was burglarized in a driveway. There were no signs of forced entry into the vehicle. The unknown suspect stole the victim’s glasses. Tot. Est. Loss: $300.

A 26-year-old female was the victim of Burglary Conveyance on 04/29/2022. The unknown suspect smashed out two vehicles’ windows and removed items while the cars were parked overnight. Tot. Est. Loss: $62

Robbery

NW 70th Ave.

On 04/27/2022, a 17-year-old male was the victim of a Robbery. He had met with the suspect to purchase narcotics. The suspect pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded his money. A struggle ensued, and the victim was stabbed in his lower back.

Theft

W. McNab Rd.

A 52-year-old male was the victim of Theft – Motor Vehicle Parts on 05/01/2022. The listed victim reported a theft of an auto part from his Honda Pilot. Tot. Est. Loss: $1,000.

Arrests

Moore, Patrick Cyrus, 32, was arrested on charges of Damage Prop-crim Misch-1000 Dols Or More on 04/26/2022.

Morrison, Dominic Ryan, 37, was arrested on charges of Warrant – Vio Of Pretrial – Delivery Of Fentanyl on Treehouse Ln on 04/26/2022.

Fernandez, Manuel Felipe, 40, was arrested on Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol charges on NW 73rd Ter on 04/27/2022.

Ali, Michael, 58, was arrested on charges of Warrant: Grand Theft In Third Degree on 3rd Ave on 04/27/2022.

Smith, Valeane Shanta, 38, was arrested on charges of Warrant count: 1 Felony Battery W/prior Conviction W Commercial Blvd on 04/30/2022.
