
Tamarac Fire Rescue Welcomes Nine New Recruits. {Tamarac Fire Rescue}
Tamarac Fire Rescue welcomes nine new individuals who have joined the department and begun their journey of service to the community.
Welcome to Firefighters Abreu, Blandino, Coleman, Curbelo, Garcia, Massa, Milligan Jr., Omes, and Swiderski.
According to a post on Facebook by Tamarac Fire Rescue, their commitment begins with an intensive six-week pre-assignment schedule designed to immerse them in the Tamarac way of operating. Throughout the program, the recruits will train in apparatus operations, hose lays and deployments, ladder operations, EMS protocols, and EMS equipment.
Each day will start with a rigorous fitness regimen to promote teamwork and develop leadership qualities.
