A Tamarac man was arrested and charged with ten counts of possession of child pornography, one charge of compiling child pornography with a computer, and two charges of engaging in sexual contact with animals.
On February 17, a Broward County Sheriff’s Office task force known as South Florida Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) followed up on a tip they received from Google last August concerning a man, later identified as Robert Joseph Glaros, 27, who was allegedly in possession of child pornography. Deputies visited Glaros at his home located in the 8200 block of NW 68th Terrace to investigate further.
Glaros lived with his grandparents and eight dogs at the residence. During an interview with deputies, Glaros admitted to storing child pornography on various cloud-based file storage applications, which he gave deputies access to.
While Glaros also admitted he is sexually aroused by children and had masturbated to the images he was in possession of that depicted children aged six months to 12-years old, he said he is more interested in 12-15-year-old’s — not children as young as the pornography in his possession.
According to the report, when deputies scanned the rest of Glaros’s account, they found more than 1,700 pictures of videos containing child pornography. In all, Glaros was in possession of over 35 GB of illegal materials stored on multiple devices, including his Samsung Galaxy cellphone.
In the search process, deputies also discovered two videos depicting two of the dogs in the home — later identified by Glaros as Holly and Boomer — performing oral sex on Glaros. Glaros confirmed to deputies the videos of the dogs licking his testicles and anus were him.
Deputies arrested Glaros and transported him to the Broward County Main Jail.
