Neil Simon’s all time favorite comedy “The Prisoner of 2nd Ave” grabs the dark side of life and bathes it in humor. Who better than Neil Simon could bring joy out of Mel Edison’s life problems. Not only does he get laid off, he comes home to discover his house has been robbed which pushes him over the edge to a nervous breakdown. All of which is done in a way that’ll entertain the audience while laughing at life’s troubles.
