Tamarac to Host HOA Workshop on Tree Removal, Permits, and Trimming Regulations

Families preparing for the new school year can take advantage of free school supplies, community resources and family-friendly activities during the City of Tamarac’s Back-to-School Community Resource Fair on Saturday, Aug. 8.

The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd.

The first 200 students in attendance will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies and educational materials, while supplies last.

In addition to the backpack giveaway, families can connect with local organizations that offer educational and community resources to support students throughout the school year. The event will also feature giveaways, school essentials and information from a variety of community partners.

A highlight of the event will be the “Rip the Hallways: The Re-Mix” Back-to-School Fashion Show at 11:30 a.m., showcasing students modeling their fresh back-to-school styles.
