The music of Carole King takes center stage at Kings Point Palace with Tapestry: The Carole King Songbook, a tribute starring Suzanne O. Davis.
The show recreates the look and feel of a 1970s Carole King concert while paying tribute to her landmark 1971 album Tapestry. Backed by a full band, Davis performs the album in its entirety, along with additional hits from King’s career and well-known songs featured in the Broadway musical Beautiful.
The show includes iconic songs such as “I Feel the Earth Move,” “It’s Too Late,” “You’ve Got a Friend,” “(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman,” “Beautiful,” “Will You Love Me Tomorrow,” and “Where You Lead.”
Held on Saturday, February 7, at 8 p.m., the show is $25 for Kings Point residents and $30 for guests, with tickets available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.
The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Wednesday, and 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.
As a reminder, shorts are not permitted in the theater. All attendees must be 18 years or older for all shows. Kings Point Palace is open to the public.
