Women In Distress of Broward County invites the community to a special charity event to celebrate its golden anniversary.
Women In Distress of Broward County, an organization dedicated to preventing domestic violence and supporting its victims, will hold a special charity event on November 3 to commemorate its 50th anniversary at 4:30 p.m. at The View at Colony West, 6850 Northwest 88th Street.
The evening is an invitation for supporters, community leaders, and advocates to raise funds for Women In Distress’ ongoing efforts to provide services for domestic violence survivors, including emergency shelter, crisis intervention, and therapeutic counseling.
Those interested in attending can expect to enjoy an evening featuring a catered meal, activities, including raffles, and a silent auction filled with items donated by local businesses and community members.
