JP Taravella High School’s award-winning theatre department presents their newest production, Legally Blonde The Musical.
Based on the novel by Amanda Brown that became the 2001 movie starring Reese Witherspoon, Legally Blonde The Musical follows the evolution of Elle Woods as she takes on stereotypes, snobbery, and scandal with her strong ambitions. This dynamic musical explodes on stage with unforgettable songs and energizing dances. Legally Blonde is so much fun, one has to ask, is it even legal?
With a script written by Heather Hack and music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin, this exhilarating production teaches us to never judge a book by it’s cover (no matter how pink).
Performances will be January 28 and 29 at 7:00 p.m. and January 30 at 1:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Presale tickets are $12.00 for adults and $8.00 for students/seniors and are available now at www.seatyourself.biz/jpt. Tickets are also available at the box office one hour prior to the show for $15.00.
