Turnstiles, a Billy Joel Tribute band, takes over the Groove on the Grass for a free concert under the stars.
Tony Monaco, a life-long Billy Joel fan and Turnstiles’ lead singer, is joined on the stage by guitarist Dave Fullerton, Ron Fattorusso on saxophone, Mark Jacobs on bass, Jeff McDonald on drums, and Greg Reitano on keyboards as a “piano man.”
The band focuses on the music and delivering a faithful and completely live Billy Joel experience. Turnstiles’ renditions of Billy’s classic songs will move the casual listener and the hard-core “Joel fan” to their feet and have them singing along to the classics.
Turnstiles will play at Tamarac Sports Complex on Friday, May 6, from 7 to 9 p.m. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. Snacks will be available for purchase.
