Arson
A victim of Arson on W Commercial Blvd was reported on 08/15/2023. The subject was found committing arson and criminal mischief.
Theft – All Other
A victim of Theft – All Other on NW 78 Street was reported on 08/16/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,500. The caller wanted to report a stolen catalytic converter.
A victim of Theft – All Other on Island Club Drive was reported on 08/17/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,200. The victim advised his package was stolen.
Threats / Intimidation
A victim of Threats / Intimidation was reported on 08/15/2023.
Fraud – Credit Card / Atm
A victim of Fraud – Credit Card / ATM on NW 25 Terrace was reported on 08/15/2023.
Burglary Conveyance
A victim of Burglary Conveyance on Pine Island Road was reported on 08/16/2023. The total estimated loss was $2,400.
A victim of Burglary Conveyance on W Commercial Blvd was reported on 08/16/2023. The total estimated loss was $2,000. A sewer pump was taken from the back of the victim’s vehicle.
A victim of Burglary Conveyance on NW 49 Street was reported on 08/18/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,900.
A victim of Burglary Conveyance on NW 78 Street was reported on 08/20/2023. The total estimated loss was $700. The victim’s vehicle was burglarized, where his firearm and cash were taken.
Kidnapping / False Imprisonment
A victim of Kidnapping / False Imprisonment on Weldon Circle was reported on 08/17/2023. The total estimated loss was $2,030. The items included a Michael Kors pouch, house keys, and an iPhone 14 worth $1200.00.
Auto Theft
A victim of Auto Theft on NW 61 Street was reported on 08/17/2023. The total estimated loss was $1,750. A white Honda Accord was stolen with additional items inside, including a 9MM handgun.
Theft – Retail / Shoplifting
A victim of Theft – Retail / Shoplifting on W Commercial Blvd was reported on 08/19/2023. The total estimated loss was 1,011.95. Two adult males and an adult female selected and concealed $1,011.95 worth of merchandise, and then they passed all points of sale with no intent to pay and fled the scene in a silver, four-door Honda.
A victim of Burglary Residence on NW 48 Avenue was reported on 08/21/2023. The total estimated loss was $30.
Arrests
Lewis, Ladarius, Lanard, 21, was arrested on a Burglary-Dwelling Structure Or Conveyance Armed charge at Corkwood Terrace on 08/15/2023.
Sarnel, Barry, 80, was arrested on a Battery-Commit Domestic Battery By Strangulation charge at N Sabal Palm Blvd on 08/15/2023.
Romero, Gustavo, Adrian, 38, was arrested on a Warrant Resist Officer W/Violence charge at NW 88 Circle on 08/16/2023.
Lewis, Ladarius, Lanard, 21, was arrested on a Larceny – Other Theft charge at Banyan Place on 08/16/2023.
Beretta, Eustace, Kyle, 58, was arrested on a Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence charge at W Commercial Blvd on 08/19/2023.
Oliphant, Theron, Lakeith, 48, was arrested on a Robbery-By Sudden Snatching W/O Firearm Or Weapon charge at Southgate Blvd on 08/20/2023.
Francois Chantale, 39, was arrested on a Battery-Cause Bodily Harm – Domestic Violence charge at Bayberry Lane on 08/20/2023.
Biggs, Patrick, Sean, 45, was arrested on a Violation Injunction Protection Domestic Violence charge at NW 58 Place on 08/21/2023.
Mejia Garcia, Bryan, 31, was arrested on a charge of Warrant at NW 75 Street on 08/21/2023.
