Don’t miss the Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga tribute show at Kings Point Palace performed by seasoned artists Steve Leeds and Sharon Owens.
Held on Saturday, December 9, at 8 p.m., the show is $20 for Kings Point residents and $25 for guests, with tickets available at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.
Leads performed on ABC’s “The Children’s Hour” and NBC’s variety show “Star Time” as a child, then joined the Larry Elgart Orchestra later, singing all over New York City, including the Rainbow Room, the Waldorf and the Plaza.
A Saint Petersburg, FL native, Owens toured worldwide as a singer and dancer with American Entertainment Productions, opening for The Letterman, The Mandrell sisters, Willie Nelson, and Loretta Lynn.
Together, Leeds and Owens recreate the once-in-lifetime performance that Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga gave in August of 2021 at Radio City Music Hall.
The tribute show “Cheek to Cheek” includes great American Jazz standards like “Anything Goes,” “It Don’t Mean a Thing,” “I Can’t Give You Anything but Love,” and “Lady is a Tramp.” The talented duet also sings songs from Cole Porter’s repertoire, including “Love for Sale” and “I Get a Kick out of You.”
The Palace at Kings Point is located at 7622 NW 76th St. in Tamarac.
