The city of Lauderhill’s Educational Advisory Board is accepting applications for its 2024 High School Scholarships.
The annual award will provide a $1,000 scholarship for five graduating high school seniors who live in Lauderhill. All majors are welcome to apply. Applicants can download the application here.
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must be a class of 2024 graduating senior from any private, charter, or public high school in Broward County. They must live in Lauderhill and be a U.S. citizen, resident alien, or the child of a resident alien.
Additionally, applicants must have submitted an application for federal student aid and “must demonstrate outstanding citizenship through volunteer work and academic excellence,” according to a written city announcement.
All applications must be postmarked on or prior to May 23, 2024, and addressed to:
