The Tamarac Broward Cadet & Explorer Programs has invited students aged 14-18 who are passionate about fire and emergency services to apply to be the next generation of the program’s team members.
The program offers an intense training program designed to challenge and prepare cadets for future careers in fire services. As part of the program, participants will participate in training activities and organizational tasks that simulate real-world scenarios to prepare them well for the fire academy.
Cadets who join the program will benefit from continuous mentorship throughout high school and receive guidance as they navigate EMT, fire, and paramedic schools.
The program’s mentorship component also supports cadets as they progress through their training and education.
Enrollment is currently open, but those interested must apply before the deadline of June 16. Interviews for the program will begin in late July and continue into early August.
