The City of Tamarac and Farm Share have partnered to bring much-needed food assistance to the community through a drive-thru food distribution event.
The event will take place on Friday, June 27, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Caporella Aquatic & Wellness Center, located at 9300 Northwest 58th Street. To help with traffic flow, vehicles are instructed to enter the car line at 9400 Northwest and 58th Street.
Organizers say the event will operate on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. Residents interested in volunteering or seeking additional information can contact the city at (954) 597-3620.
Farm Share, a nonprofit organization, works to provide fresh produce and nutritious food to communities across Florida.
