Bingo and Tiger {Broward County Animal Care}
Broward County Animal Care is spotlighting two special pets in search of forever homes: Bingo, a playful 1-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix, and Tiger, a gentle 4-year-old domestic shorthair cat.
Bingo’s journey began in January under heartbreaking circumstances. After her owner was evicted, she was left behind in a locked pink crate with little food and water. She was rescued from an abandoned apartment and brought to the shelter, malnourished and afraid. Today, she’s a completely transformed pup—full of energy, affection, and joy.
This food-loving, people-following sweetheart enjoys outings through the shelter’s Broward Buddies Date program and has shown she’s house-trained and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and lie down. Fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped, Bingo is ready to move from shelter life to home life—with her adoption fee waived.
Tiger, a soft-natured tabby, arrived at the shelter in April after being surrendered with 15 other cats. Initially shy and withdrawn, Tiger has since warmed up to shelter staff and visitors, now greeting guests at the door and eagerly accepting pets and affection.
With a calm temperament and a love for napping, stretching, and scratching posts, Tiger would thrive in a quiet home. He’s comfortable with other cats but appreciates his own space. Like Bingo, Tiger is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and has no adoption fee.
Both pets are available for adoption at Broward County Animal Care, located at 2400 SW 42nd Street in Fort Lauderdale. All adopted animals come spayed or neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and include a Broward County Pet Registration Tag—completely free of charge.
