The City of Tamarac is moving forward with plans to renovate the Glades Golf Course at Colony West Golf Club and is seeking community input to help guide the design.
According to the City of Tamarac, The Glades Course, an 18-hole executive layout established in 1971, is known for its accessibility and player-friendly design. However, after decades of use, the course is due for significant upgrades, including improvements to turf, greens, cart paths, irrigation systems, and practice facilities.
The budget has been set for $3,343,750.
Residents are encouraged to complete a brief online survey available until February 28 and attend a Q&A Workshop on Wednesday, February 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Colony West Clubhouse, 6850 NW 88th Ave.
According to the city, these renovations aim to enhance playability, attract new golfers, and ensure the course remains a valued community asset.
Residents can provide input by completing the survey or attending the workshop to ask questions and share ideas. For more information, visit the city’s engagement platform.
