Citibank opens its newest location in Tamarac. {Citi Bank}

Citibank has opened a new branch in Tamarac at 3102 NW 50th Street, marking its continued expansion and modernization efforts across South Florida.

The 3,108-square-foot location features a modern open-floor layout and offers a full range of services, including personal banking, small business support, mortgage assistance, and wealth management.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 10 brought together community leaders, nonprofit partners, clients, and Citi staff. The East Tamarac branch becomes the first within its specific district and adds to Citi’s network of 52 branches in the region.

As part of its ongoing community engagement, Citi will participate in National Get Smart About Credit Day on October 16, partnering with Junior Achievement of South Florida, Hispanic Unity of Florida, and the Urban League of Broward County to provide financial education to students. The Citi Foundation has invested more than $8 million in South Florida nonprofits since 2020 and recently committed $5 million through its Community Progress Makers initiative.

Citi employees also regularly volunteer in local service efforts, including beach cleanups and food distribution events. The bank was recently recognized as the nation’s top affordable housing lender for the 15th consecutive year.
