By Agrippina Fadel

Feel the rhythm and join the jive as Dave La Fame’s Tom Jones tribute show hits all the right notes at Kings Point Palace.

Held on Saturday, August 5, at 8 p.m., the show is $10 for Kings Point residents and $15 for guests, with tickets available at the venue’s box office before and on the night of the concert.

Originally from England, Dave La Fame started his career playing guitar and singing with different bands in London. After moving to Canada, he worked as an actor and singer and created a series of comedic impersonations of musical stars, including Frank Sinatra and Elvis.

Still, his impersonation of Tom Jones was praised the most, which led to La Fame creating a stand-alone tribute show to the great Welsh singer. In his performance on the Palace stage, he will sing all the beloved hits, including “It’s Not Unusual,” “Delilah,” and “She’s a Lady.”

The Palace at Kings Point is located at 7622 NW 76th St. in Tamarac.
