A motorist was killed when he drove into a concrete pole in Tamarac Sunday, authorities said.
The vehicle crashed around 9 a.m. on Southgate Boulevard east of University Drive in Tamarac, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office.
BSO Tamarac District deputies and Tamarac Fire Rescue paramedics rushed to the scene, where the man died of his injuries.
BSO’s Traffic Homicide Unit detectives are investigating the crash.
Additional information about the crash – including the dead driver’s name and the type of vehicle he was driving– was not made public.
