Residents of Tamarac are invited to put on their dancing shoes and join Mayor Michelle Gomez and Commissioner Elvin Villalobos for a series of free professional dance lessons.
Held at the Tamarac Community Center, the event follows the success of last month’s Bachata session. The city will continue with Merengue on Friday, July 19, and Salsa on Friday, August 16.
Each class will run from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Dancers of all skill levels are welcome to attend solo or with a partner. Additionally, the festivities will culminate in a free Hispanic Heritage Month dance party on Saturday, September 14, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
This event promises to be a lively celebration of culture and dance.
The Tamarac Community Center is located at 8601 W Commercial Blvd.
