Larry Jerirod Mann {BSO}
A man is facing felony aggravated stalking charges after allegedly repeatedly violating a woman’s protective order, making death threats toward her son, and ultimately confronting her at her workplace.
According to Broward County Sheriff’s Office records, Larry Jerirod Mann, 40, of Deerfield Beach, was arrested on May 17 on an outstanding warrant for multiple alleged crimes. Detectives claim in the report that Mann engaged in persistent stalking and harassment of a woman, disregarding an active injunction specifically issued for her protection due to his past actions.
Records show the most recent incident occurred on May 16, when Mann confronted the victim outside her workplace, an IHOP restaurant at 6101 North University Drive. According to reports, Mann approached the victim’s vehicle immediately upon her arrival, standing aggressively at the driver’s side window and repeatedly demanding to “talk.”
The victim told investigators she was immediately terrified due to previous violent encounters with Mann and thus refused to lower her window and instead dialed 911. Realizing that the victim was contacting law enforcement, Mann reportedly walked away from the vehicle, enabling the victim to drive off to safety.Â
The report shows that the victim told officers she was genuinely fearful for her life, particularly because Mann had previously assaulted her at the exact IHOP location on August 20, 2024. Further investigation by deputies revealed that Mann’s threatening behavior was routine.Â
Records show that the victim provided law enforcement with evidence, including multiple threatening voicemails left by Mann dating back several months. The messages explicitly promised violence, with Mann allegedly threatening to “knock her teeth out” and choke her until she was “unrecognizable.”Â
The victim also told deputies that voicemails chillingly referenced harm toward the victim’s autistic child, including Mann allegedly asking if the victim wanted her autistic son “to die.”,
Law enforcement reviewed surveillance footage from IHOP, confirming the victim’s account. Additionally, deputies documented numerous missed calls from blocked numbers, believed to have originated from Mann, spanning May 11 through May 16, further substantiating the victim’s reports of ongoing harassment.
Mann was arrested and transported to the Broward County Main Jail.
