Prepare to dust off your old-school dance moves at the Oldies Concert in the Park.
Held at Mainlands Park on Saturday, September 28, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the City of Tamarac brings back the nostalgic sounds of Motown, doo-wop, classic rock, disco, R&B, and more via a live music performance by the oldies band, The Fabulous.
The city invites the community to celebrate the sounds of old and dance the evening away to music from the Fabulons, who will play covers of beloved bands such as the Beach Boys and The Beatles.
In addition to the music, various food vendors will provide refreshments on-site.
Admission is free, but event organizers note that on-site parking is limited.
To accommodate all guests, free continuous shuttle transportation will be available from Mainlands Clubhouse 1 & 2, located at 4301 Mainland Drive, to Mainlands Park.
The shuttle service will begin at 3:30 p.m.
