Tribute artist Lou Villano and Destiny Band are bringing the Paul Anka Songbook show to the Kings Point Palace.
The unique format of the 90-minute show blends Anka’s music performed live and the footage of him with other great artists of the era, including Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis, Jr. The guests will see the scenes from the movie The Longest Day, for which Anka wrote the music, and hear the best of his hits, including Diana, Lonely Boy, Steel Guitar, The Longest Day, My Hometown, Puppy Love, and Destiny.
The show, held on Saturday, September 28, at 8 p.m., is $15 for Kings Point residents and $20 for guests. Tickets are available online and at the venue’s box office before and on the concert night.
The new box office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday and 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays. On Saturdays, tickets can be purchased at the Clubhouse from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and at the Palace from 7 to 8:15 p.m.
As a reminder, shorts are prohibited in the theater, and all show attendees must be 18 years or older. Kings Point Palace is open to the public.
The Palace at Kings Point is located at 7622 NW 76th St. in Tamarac.
