CareerSource Broward will host the 13th annual Paychecks for Patriots Job Fair on Friday, Nov. 7, offering job seekers the chance to connect directly with employers hiring for hundreds of positions across multiple industries.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd. The first hour of the fair is reserved exclusively for veterans, military spouses, and eligible caregivers. Doors will open to the general public beginning at 10 a.m.
Organizers say the job fair will feature dozens of employers with immediate openings ranging from entry-level to skilled professional roles in manufacturing, health care, public safety, government, hospitality, retail, aviation, and more. Companies set to participate include large corporations, small businesses, and public agencies.
The event is free, and job seekers are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their résumés and dress professionally, as many employers will be conducting on-site interviews.
To assist attendees, Broward County Transit will offer courtesy transportation from CareerSource Broward’s North, Central, and South career centers. Pickup times will be announced ahead of the event.
CareerSource Broward recommends that participants register online in advance and research the attending employers to prepare targeted questions and introductions.
