The City of Tamarac invites the community to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with an evening of live music, dancing, food, and cultural festivities.
The city’s Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration will take place Friday, Sept. 18, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Tamarac Village Amphitheater, 9090 NW 57th St. Admission is free.
The celebration will feature live entertainment hosted by Annya of The Annya Experience, with Catabella Music taking the stage. DJ Thunder will also provide music throughout the evening.
In addition to the entertainment, guests can explore local vendors and enjoy food from a variety of food trucks while celebrating the traditions, music and culture of the Hispanic community.
Hispanic Heritage Month is observed nationally from Sept. 15 through Oct. 15 and recognizes the histories, cultures and contributions of Americans with roots in Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and South America.
On-site parking at the amphitheater will be limited. The city will provide free continuous shuttle transportation from the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W. Commercial Blvd., to the Tamarac Village Amphitheater from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
