July 14
A woman retrieved personal belongings during a civil standby and left without incident.
July 22
A resident reported identity theft after someone used his personal information to open a Comcast account.
July 24–25
A package ordered from Amazon was never delivered; the incident was reported to the police.
July 29
A verbal argument occurred between a father, son, and stepmother; no crime was committed.
An anonymous caller reported two people yelling; a domestic situation was confirmed but caller could not be reached.
A man reported his vehicle stolen. Estimated loss: $640.
A USPS vehicle caught fire; no injuries were reported.
A mother and daughter were involved in a verbal domestic altercation.
A store employee reported a customer threatened him.
A resident reported being the victim of contractor fraud totaling $16,500.
A person was involuntarily committed under the Baker Act due to suspicious behavior.
July 30
A second Baker Act was initiated after a woman claimed her in-laws were practicing voodoo and trying to kill her.
Another verbal domestic disturbance was later determined not to be domestic in nature.
A woman was allegedly struck by a manager using a door.
A domestic battery incident resulted in an arrest after injuries were observed.
A second domestic battery occurred involving a physical altercation between partners; the offender was arrested.
Ammunition and medication were turned in for destruction.
A spotlight was broken off a carwash fixture.
A person was arrested for vandalizing a Walmart cash register, causing over $1,000 in damage.
July 31
A domestic disturbance occurred during the early morning hours.
A stolen electric shopping cart was reported by Quince Supermarket. Estimated loss: $500.
A verbal domestic dispute was reported in the evening.
August 1
A vehicle fled from a traffic stop on North State Road 7.
A physical fight between two women took place outside New Generation Liquor Store.
A child was locked inside a running vehicle. After failed attempts to retrieve spare keys, a window was broken to free the child, who was unharmed.
A man reported finding his girlfriend’s daughter at the Tamarac Sports Complex with a boyfriend, which was against permission.
Another verbal domestic incident was reported.
August 2
A man was stopped on a moped with no visible tag; the moped was discovered to be stolen. A temp tag found under the seat was recovered and placed into evidence.
August 3

Khiante L. Thompson, 33, was arrested for aggravated stalking after an injunction.

Linda Marie Samuels, 21, was arrested for domestic battery/dating violence.
Zachary Philemon Thomas, 32, was arrested for domestic battery by strangulation.
Megan Ashley Hoban, 22, was arrested for criminal mischief over $1,000 at Walmart.
August 3 (North Lauderdale)
Brinaya Aliyah Mclendon, 19, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon (domestic).
Brinaisha Jaliyah Mclendon, 18, was arrested for domestic battery.
