Animal Bite
Woodmont Ave.
On 10/30/2021, a dog owner was in her community when two loose dogs ran out from Woodmont Ave and attacked her dog, causing lacerations.
W. Prospect Rd.
On 10/30/2021, a woman told deputies she was walking her Yorkie, which weighs 10 to 15 pounds when two large Huskies weighing 60 to 80 pounds came out from behind her home and bit her dog on its lower hip.
Burglary Conveyance
NW 55th Ct.
On 10/26/2021, the victim returned to his car, a 2006 Pontiac G6, which had been parked at his friend’s tow lot awaiting repairs. Two gold bracelets were missing from the center console. Tot. Est. Loss: $12,000.
Tuscany Ct.
On 10/26/2021, the victim told deputies her unlocked vehicle was burglarized and a laptop computer stolen. The vehicle was parked in front of her residence. Tot. Est. Loss: $1,275.
NW 29th Ter.
On 10/29/2021, a victim reported a delayed burglary conveyance to his vehicle, a 2012 Dodge Ram truck. A DeWalt Laser Level ($500) and a pair of Bose headphones ($300) were taken from the vehicle. Tot. Est. Loss: $800.
Death Investigation
NW 68th Ter.
On 10/29/2021, a person was found dead. Homicide, Crime Scene, and the Broward County Medical Examiner’s Office were notified and arrived on the scene.
Theft
W. Commercial Blvd.
On 10/29/2021, a caller contacted emergency services about three thieves exiting through the westside emergency exit, passing all points of sale and stealing merchandise. Suspect(s) left the store northbound with the merchandise. Suspect(s) remain unknown at this time. Tot. Est. Loss: $299.
Arrests
Navarro, Jose Luis Santa, 38, was arrested on charges of Operate Motor Vehicle Without Valid License on Nw 62nd St on 10/27/2021.
Curtis, Brandon Scott, 32, was arrested on Warrant charges on N Pine Island Rd on 10/28/2021.
Bienaime, Frederick, 42, was arrested on charges of Warrant-Trafficking Fentanyl on Nw 52nd Ct on 10/29/2021.
