Through our joint effort with the Broward Sheriff’s Office to share updates with the residents, this is a summary of Tamarac crime events through October 16.
Aggravated Assault
A victim of Aggravated Assault was reported at Lagos De Campo Blvd, Tamarac, FL, 10/15/2023. The victim was spat on and threatened with a machete by his neighbor. The suspect was arrested.
Auto Theft
A victim of Auto Theft was reported at W Commercial Blvd. on 10/10/2023. Silver 2021 4-door Lexus SI 350 Approx. Value $40,000. The victim advised her vehicle was stolen from her parking space.
A victim of Auto theft was reported in Tamarac, FL, 010/11/2023. Black 2022 Acura TLX, no known subjects, not reported towed. The victim was up-to-date on payments.
Battery
A victim of Battery was reported at E Sabal Palm Blvd on 10/10/2023. The caregiver wanted to report an injury the victim sustained from the offender.
Burglary Conveyance
A victim of Burglary Conveyance was reported at NW 51st Av, Tamarac, FL, on 10/10/2023, Tot.Est.Loss: $63. BSO contacted the victim, who advised that his wallet was stolen from his unlocked vehicle. A latent print was retrieved.
A victim of Burglary Conveyance was reported at NW 79th Ter, Tamarac, FL, on 10/11/2023. Tot Est. Loss: $1. The victim left his car unlocked when the subject opened his passenger door and searched through the car. Nothing was taken.
A victim of Burglary Conveyance was reported at Lime Bay Blvd, Tamarac, FL, Reported 10/12/2023. Tot. Est. Loss: $10. An unknown suspect broke into two cars overnight. The suspect went through the glove box and center console and only removed one small item from one car.
Theft
A victim of Theft was reported at NW 78th Ave, Tamarac, FL, on 10/10/2023. Tot. Est. Loss: $20. An Amazon package with $20 hair clippers was stolen. The victim signed a misdemeanor waiver of prosecution.
A victim of Theft was reported at NW 72nd St on 10/13/2023. Tot. Est. Loss: $1,100. The victim had an iPhone delivered to his house from Apple via UPS, and an unknown suspect stole it off of his front porch.
Arrests
Steward, Schateise Dominique, 34, was arrested on charges of Warant-Grand Theft at 5223 N State Road 7 on 10/10/2023.
Gunn, Pamela Denise, 44, was arrested on charges of possession of Oxycodone at N State Road 7 and Commercial Blvd on 10/11/2023.
Robinson, Benjamin Edward, 36, was arrested on charges of Cocaine-Possess-with Intent to Sell at 3803 W Commercial Blvd on 10/11/2023
Bullard, Jacquin Xavier, 26, was arrested on charges of Fraud-Cash Deposit Bank with Intent To Defraud at W Commercial Blvd on 10/12/2023.
Kennedy, Aeron Chad, 32, was arrested on Domestic Battery By Strangulation-Dating Relation charges at S Colony Cir on 10/13/2023.
Felder, Marcha, 36, was arrested on Battery-on Person 65 Years Of Age Or Older at Madison Ave on 10/14/2023.
Diaz, Benancio, 86, was arrested on charges of Aggravated Assault w/Deadly Weapon Without Intent To Kill on 10/15/2023. Lagos De Campo Blvd.
Vicente, Elmer Bladimir, 32, was arrested on charges of Dui Alcohol Or Drugs Offense at 2800 W Commercial Blvd, Tamarac, on 10/15/2023.
Martimer, John, 36, was arrested on Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol charges at Lagos De Campo Blvd, on 10/16/2023.
Hayle, Nicole Michelle, 42, was arrested on Battery on a Person 65 Years Of Age Or Older at S Belfort Ciron on 10/16/2023.
Harris, Antonio, 50, was arrested on Battery-on Officer Firefighter Emt Officer charges at N State Road 7, Tamarac, on 10/16/2023.
